Will the T100’s Superstar Signing Lead to Deep Pocketed Deals?

What is it: With hopes of million dollar deals and an answer to antsy investors, the upstart T100 Triathlon World Tour is rumored to have hired Stuart Ramsey as its new Chief Commercial Officer.
Ramsey, who recently resigned from English Rugby, was the catalyst of the organization’s “transformational” £100m partnership with insurance giant Allianz.
He also helped broker notable deals with Apple, John Lewis, and AG1.
Tempo’s take: So far, the T100 has landed sponsorship deals with endemic brands like Canyon, Ekoi, and Maurten. But with Ramsey, the T100 Tour gets someone who knows how to communicate value and win lucrative deals from globally recognized brands.
And fortunately for the T100, Ramsay won’t need much of an onboarding to the sport. According to his X profile, he is a “part-time triathlete.”
But how will he sell a series that’s in the midst of a complete overhaul of its business model from a media product to an events company? We can’t wait to find out!
